Rockhound vs Rockaway

Hi there, new member here with a LOT of questions in the near future, but I'll start with a short one... Has anyone had any experience with either a Rockhound or Rockaway rock picker that would attach to skid steer? We have a very rocky couple of areas on our land which I want to prepare for seeding (paddocks and lawn areas). The rocks are predominantly small (2-8 inches) and I really don't relish hand picking them!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I googled the rockhound and saw what it is. I've never used one but I've used a Preparator which is very similar. I found that in addition to removing rocks, it also removed quite a bit of top soil. I lost more top soil than I was willing to accept so I didn't rent that attachment again.

I couldn't find the Rockaway in a search.

I prefer the Harley Rake. It will kick the rocks out of the soil and leave nearly all of the topsoil behind. There are box ends you can attach for grading. The down side is it doesn't actually collect the rocks, you have to come back with the bucket to scoop them up.

Rockhound by bobcat ? Correct If so I have used both rockhound will actually flip the rocks into the bucket. The rockaway will just windrow the rocks. Thought the rockaway did a slightly better job could have been soil type etc. but additional labor to pick up rocks from rows
