I went to 2 of my local home depots, but unfortunately, they said they don't sell their equipment until it's 3 years old. I definitely don't want that.....imagine all the neglect and disrespect the homeowners would have for the tools.....yuck.

Yea I think home depot has caught on. In the past I have bought a couple of cheap items. Lately when I ask the sales price I will get the same reply. The equipment is not for sale unless it is 3 years old.

After seeing this thread, I stopped at my store and inquired on the way to an appointment. They had a Bosch demolition hammer for less than half off, but I didn't have my check book with me. I went back 2 days laster and it was gone! You have to move fast on this stuff!
