alluminum ramps
I recently purchased two 14' by 16" aircraft alluminum loading ramps. so light one guy can eaisely carry one. They hold 8000lbs per axel. I can load bobcats and the excavator onto the flatbed trucks with no need for a trailer. They cost around $1000. They can custom make any size you need. I will look for the contact info if anyone is interested.

Ditto. I've just been looking for something the last couple days for loading a WB mower on a flatbed truck hauling a trailer so I have trailer space for debris.

I found something on e bay that might work as well, and I looked in AW Direct catalog and saw some yesterday as well.

We use our Ally ramps on a daily basis for putting the skid or mini in the dump body of our 4 tonne Isuzu.
Scumbags stole these ones recently...cost me $1,400 AUD for new ones. These are rated at 4000 kg....over 8,000 lbs. Some are for tyres only and some are designed for both tyres and grousers.
You need holes in the back of the trailer or dump body for pins and either safety chains or lynch pins. Also, we use these ramps for all sorts of things, climbing over walls, footings etc...ever loaded straight off a truck onto the top of a terrace wall.

Yeah, I would like some contact info as well. This would be great to help us load a skid steer in the back of our dump!

I use the Lund Tri-Fold (lots of people carry it, Google your favorite vendor; here's the manufacturer: http://www.lundinternational.com/lun...mp__truck.aspx ).
I needed something for a walk-behind mower and various other smaller pieces of equipment with smaller wheels - they'd be sunk on one of those wide-spaced bars. Looks like that discountramps place has a few other alternatives that also solve the problem.
