tie downs for lawn mowers.

hello everyone...

i am looking for a tie down system for my lawn mowers. i hate having to strap and unstrap my mowers at every house.. i figure the time spent doing this eats up about 30 mins a day, which is a cost.

i have found this product "ProLockers" ...its a wheel locking system for lawn mowers.

www.prolawnequipment.com/prolockers.html

has anyone used this product? is there a better alternative?

thanks for the input.

Matt

My buddy uses them and loves them, they are fast and secure.

I'm using a different system, I've got 3 machines one behind the next on the trailer. I found the Fastrap works better for me in this case. It takes about 20 seconds to tie or release each machine and I can just drive over the straps in the rear while loading/unloading the front machines. I found the best price at Sportsman's Guide.

The Prolockers would require that I remove the boot each and every time which would add up to lost time. For a single machine application I think they'd work just fine.

I have a prolocker, but now that i have 3 different ztrs i no longer use it. Its really a hassle because each day we take 2 of the three mowers and using the prolocker only works if i load the midmount on first...... Anyways w one mower, it works great, but if you will be taking different ones, its a hassle. Just my .02

I like to use hard rubber bungees - cheap, effective and fast.

I don't believe DOT will be too happy with bungee cords as tie downs. I know both the Prolocker and the Faststrap are DOT approved.
