Conveyer trailers?

Going into year 2 with our landscaping business, looking to upgrade some of our equipment. Had seen an ad in "Turf" magazine for a conveyer trailer and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this? Any experience? How durable are those conveyer belts, or are we asking for trouble with these types of moving parts? Would be used for mulch, soil, stone, pavers, gravel and leaves. Any thoughts/comments appreciated.

Thanks!

I just saw a ad in turf and have been checking these out also. Are these the trailers your thinking of?

yes, that's what we're thinking of. We saw the ad in turf too and thought that kind of trailer had possibility. Nobody seems to know anything about them so I don't know if they're new? We're concerned there are an awful lot of moving parts in with what we would be hauling (mulch, soil, debris, etc). What if something got trapped? What if the track gets damaged? Would we be able to find anyone out here in the woods to work on it?
What are your thoughts on these trailers?

garbage! tried the tail gate ones for trucks and tried the trailer ones same system its just one is by hand and one runs on a chain and motor. Garbage. Get a dump trailer they are not that much more. The reason we tried this type of trailer is because we didnt liek the idea of having to charge the trailer battery, not because of the 2k difference. We still have that trailer, we took the conveyer off and now use it as a regular trailer.

WOW! Thanks so much for saving us!
We had pretty much figured on going with a dump trailer. Seems to be the norm so there must be a reason.

Thanks!

I've never even heard of such a trailer. I've got a dump trailer and that's all I've ever seen. Either pickup/dump trailer combo or dump truck/float trailer combo. Haven't seen anything else around here. Nobody that I know even has a switch-and-go unit in my area.
