You get what you pay for. If you are interested, look at terex's stock. It has SKYROCKETED over the past year (missed on that one...doh) One of the reason is due to the passing of the national highway building act. Basically, a lot of BIG companies are getting massive contracts to build roads...
Hence, where terex comes in. They make a machine that fits a 'short duty' job. In other words, people buy them, finish the contract, and dump them.
Long term use is questionable. But, for the price, it is tempting. If you are a small operation that is going to depend on 1 machine working day in and day out, and for years to come....I would think twice about getting a good deal on a machine.
