I am new to the site and looking for some help on choosing a self propelled lawn mower. I have been looking at John Deere, Honda and Husqvama. Anyone have any ideas or opinion on these or any other manufactures?

How big is the area to be cut? Walk-behind or ride-on? Type of landscape to be cut (could be a bowling green with very fine cut or a large park which is allowed to grow up to an inch and a half or more!)
