Some people here have mentioned buying tools/equip from less successful landscapers going out of the biz. Is there a central location for this or just personal contact with them?

I know Ebay is a huge source for that.

You can get on the mailing lists of auction houses - I think a lot of businesses end up using a service like that because they can liquidate the assets fast.
