blush Lawn Maintenance Trailor - Small time setup

Mornin' fellas...

I'm starting from ground zero with a 2000 Toyota 4Runner, a Snapper rider, Snapper Push Mower, and all the other usual gas tools for doing routine lawn maintenance - commercially and residentially.

I'm looking at a 5x8 trailor with gate, 1-7/8" hitch (I've got a good hitch setup). Not a wood floor - I'm thinking the wood floor ones would be too heavy?

Do you guys think that this is a satisfactory trailor for medium duty work (in town, very little highway)?

many thanks,
ash

One of the things that is most annoying for me has been when I come to the (frequent) realization that the mower/ trailer/ chainsaw/ truck/ etc. that I bought is too small. I'd rather spend a little more on something I could grow into rather than something I'm going to grow out of.

10-4 on that...so, what would you recommend? I'm just a small timer, doing some residential, some commercial, medium sized snapper rider, a push mower, and blower, etc etc...

I'm a pretty small timer too, at least when it comes to lawn maintenance, but for me the minimum size for a lawn trailer would be 6x12 with a basket and/or racks.

Well, I went ahead and sacrificed roominess for lightweight, compact, and upgradeable today. Went with a 5 X 8 with jack and ramp/gate...Everything fits on there well, and I can get the racks if I want to later.

The place I got it from will even take trade ins, so I felt more comfortable with that lil feature.

Anybody know where (online) to get a good price on landscaping racks to bolt/weld onto the side? What about cooler mounts and a mount for my Echo Backpack (650 )

Thanks for the input guys...

www.trimmertrap.com carries that stuff. I had my racks done by my trailer manufacturer though. It's cheaper and they can customize them to the exact specs you require.
