Train Wreck
We had a big disaster this morning. I am not going to go into detail as there may be legal issues. But I wanted to post some pictures. Our tractor trailer dump was hit by a high speed passenger train at a private (unprotected) crossing today. The train was travelling at 75mph and the truck was moving at 2mph approx. The truck driver was unharmed. The train engineer was cut by broken glass and is reported to be ok. None of the passengers complained of any injuries. 59 passangers.
I have many pictures but don't want to hog bandwith so I'll post a few.
Jeff if you ok it I will post all 12 or 14.

May I be the first to say ouch! Your driver is lucky to have gotten across that track as far as he did. And look at the bright side. If it was a blind crossing there won't be any one at fault.

Well Bill,
there are some mitigating factors, I will get into detail after things are sorted out. Right now I am thankful that no one was seriously injured.

Feel free to post as many pics as you want. I'm also glad to hear nobody was hurt.

passengers offloading onto a bus. They were stuck on the train for 2 hours while they moved our rig. Pictures of the removal to follow.
