Some one has got to have pics of inside of hardscape trailer..
I'm setting up my 18 ft enclosed trailer has a job site trailer with all my necessary hardscape tool in it so i can be more efficient. I spent 30 minutes searching the site and i find alot of talk about others trailers but not pics of the inside.
I have a basic idea how i want to lay the trailer out but would like to see some of your guys pictures, since you guys usually come up with good ideas!

The following are pics from the hardscape job trailer used by Steve Jones, President of Pave Tech (and also an advertiser here). He wrote the book on pavers - literally. Wrote the ICPI training, wrote the vocational training manual he offers through Pave Tech and through his new School for Advanced Segmental Paving, which represents a new level of training in the field ( www.paverschool.com).
These pics were taken during a visit I had with him back in December:

Little hinged "door" that if I recall helps to hold pipe and screed boards in their place during travel.

Simple but very effective tool to keep the drawers on a mounted toolbox from opening during travel

Ours usually looks a lot more "lived in" than that one. We have different tools too. We have a full set of shelves in the front for totes full of hand tools, cords, irrigation repair, and odds and ends. We have E track front to back packed full with shovels rakes, etc. Gas cans and cut off saws live on the floor. Cut off saw blades are hanging on bolts with wing nuts. compactors and wheelbarrows fill up the rest of the floor during transport

Those pictures look great. Does anyone have a feel as to what size might be the best for a hardscaping trailer? I am looking to buy one and have been doing some research.
Right now I am comparing 14' x 7' (body length) with the inside measuring from 12-14' x 6'9". I also think that I will go with the V-nose as it gives me additional space up front for tamps. I was also thinking of putting the gas tank holder out front of the V-nose.

Wow that trailer is insane! That gave me some ideas for mine. I basically have everything figured out for building the shelves, racks and hooks except for the screed pipes and boards. I'm thinking of putting the long lengths of pipes in a 6in sch 40 pipe. I figure i could attach that to the wall with the metal bracket a plumber would attach the pipe to a wall with.
Then for the small lengths of pipe and screeds i am thinking about building a almost a long rectangle box (with no top) about 12 feet long 10in wide and 10in deep. Almost like a oversizes flower box, and attach that to the wall. I'm planning on buying a 16ft screed for larger areas, and i figure i'll just make a bracket and hang it off the ceiling.
TJL- I have a 18x8.5 with extra height. I orignally bought the 18 footer since i thought i was going to run a mowing crew with a couple mowers. But i scratched that idea (Still going to keep the 12 lawns i got, but not add anymore). However i think once i get shevles built and add more tools to my arsenal ( jumping jack, paver cart, block splitter) i will fill all 18 feet of this trailer no proablem!

That is very well organized trailer for Hardscapes. We run a trailer similar to that, but for Irrigation only.
We have a 16' and 21' which we use to trailer our Case Maxi-sneakers inside. The walls are custom built shelves for every irrigation fitting we could ever need. Towards the front we place all the shovels, rakes, etc. in a box type enclosure. In addition, we also have the necessary parts and additives for the machines.
I guess Irrigation is a type of hardscape, right?

All of our trailers are in storage for the time being, because there is still 6-10 inches of snow on the ground.
I'll see what I can find in the picture archives.

That trailer is really nice! Wish mine had all those tolls in it when I open the door! I only have one enclosed trailer that serves for landscaping and hard scaping. So i have to unload all my hardscape stuff because it gets used for landscaping most of the time.
