Stihl Kombi system

Anyone have experience with these? I originally went into my Stihl dealer for an extended hedger HL100 and my eyes wandered onto this. Basically the trimmer powerhead was seperate but you could get other attachments.

I would mainly use this for the Ext. hedger and the powerbroom attachment.

I don't use hedgers that much, but I have a couple of accounts that have tall hedges already pruned and I would rather not use a ladder...

Ps.-Anyone like/dislike the powerbroom? I am dreaming up ways this could help me with cleanup (like mulch out of grass etc.)

I don't have any experience with the stihl. But I have the echo version. We have the trimmer, edger and articulating hedge trimmers for it. The initial cost was a little higher, but I like the fact I have only one power head to maintain and it is cheaper than buying all the units separate. Plus it takes up less room in the trailer.

I also have the echo ysytem -- I use the powerbroom at every job for cleaning up hardsurfaces, grass edges, etc.

I have two Kombi power heads with a variety of tools for them. They are excellent tools and have performed very well. I like the 4 mix engine. Quiet and powerful. They will serve you well.

Great dealer support was about 30% of the decision.

I am probably going to do this then, didn't expect there to be such support for them. I do have one last one, does the sweeper do well getting pulled thatch out of the grass?

For example taking the dead thatch to the curb so I can gather it up after using a powerrake ?

I bought the system today, came out to around $900 with the sweeper and hedger. Tried the hedger out, has pretty decent power. And the 4 cyc sounds so nice.

I am going to try and post pics of the sweeper in action, I can't find anyone the web. Maybe someone would be interested in that.
