Tony, I got this e-mail back from the Cormidi dealer in Sydney:

From: Groundcare Hire [groundcarehire@kennards.com.au]

Hello Mr Taylor.
We do not have a dealer in WA at this stage.
If you like I could post you some info on the Cormidi range if please send me your details
Kind regards

Subject: Cormidi Dumpers

We are currently seeking information on mini-tracked carrier/dumpers and there availability in Western Australia.

Regards

I have not yet received anything in the mail. Yes the Kennards Hi-lift is the one I was looking at. Kennards only appear to have the Muck Truck here in Perth. I am going to hire one next time I have a job that requires it but the small capacity of the MT is a limiting factor, good for mud but not good for shifting dirt...err...sand

I did see a 2nd Hand Avante for sale $9K at some dealer in Melbourne town.

Bill, this is the one I am now looking at:

http://www.btequipment.com.au/equipm..._carriers.html

Its a tad on the large side. I'm waiting on price. You have to log in to that website to get the details and the registration takes ages. I couldn't find a gradient or sidesloping rating yet either.

Have you got your new buggies yet?

I could'nt log into the site, so leme ask you Squizzy.

How wide is that machine? How many HP, and is the drive system direct drive or hydrostat? Next, what's the cost?

I'm pretty sold on the TCP machines, www.tcp.eu.com

28" wide, can carry 1300 lbs, dumps high or low. It's a walk behind, but then do you really want to be riding a narrow machine up a 2-1 slope with a load on it?
