bobcat stops running

your bobcat skid steer just stops running and you fuel gauge isn't reading empty, most probably it is that the fuel pickup tube in the fuel tank came off. ( squeeze the primer bulb and you will most likely hear air at the tank) you need to get new parts because the pikup tube is laying on the bottom of the tank , you'll need a new tube , a rubber bushing ,a hose filter, 2 clamps .parts avail from your bobcat dealer. take less than 1/2 hr. to install

Albert, I'm a litttle confused! Is this like "tip of the week" or are you answering something that i'm not seeing? (TIC) Anyway, could this mysterious problem also be caused by gelling fuel in our present deep freeze in the Midwest?

It could also be the fuel filter being dirty, the same is true for New Hollands. It's happend to us several times. It only takes a couple of minutes to replace the fuel filter so I'd try that first.

no ,when you squeeze your primer bulb and it's not picking up fuel from the tank ( and your fuel gauge is reading) and you can hear air in the fuel tank as you squeeze the bulb ,the pickup line came off, so you raise the cab cage access the fuel tank ,see the line that goes into the tank , remove the elbow fitting from the top of the tank and you will see that the pickup line came off( you can't get the line that came of from the tank) order a new line and parts from the dealer....
