Diamond blades

Joe:

This ones mainly for you, but, others feel free to chime in.

We are setting the coping on a pool we recently had gunite blown in. The owner chose 'Quartzite".

THAT CRAP IS HARD AS STEEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Granite countertops are softer material...

Anyhow, are there blades made especially to cut through such hard stuff, or am I just gunna have to be frustrated with the slow process of cutting this stuff?

Paul is on a distinguished road
As a general rule of thumb you need a softer bond on your blade for harder material.

Have had a good experience to relate with one of the vendor sponsors of the forum.

I am on my second dozen of a 7" T-seg diamond blade from Joe Wizard.

We use them daily on our worm drive saws and they are holding up better than the Dewalt blades from the big boxes. We cut mostly Pa. flagstone 1 1/2", but also shape some of our native stone on our rock walls when the hammer and chisel just won't do.

The blade I purchased for my cutoff saw has also been a good value.

Free delivery and typically is 3-4 day turn around.

I'm satisfied, you might be also

Jim

I have a blade designed for almost any and every application you need...And yes a softer bonded blade will cut your harder materials...And also thanks to Jim for the oppurtunity to supply his Co. and I am glad it has worked out...
