Licence Plate

Where can I find a "Tree Topping Hurts" front licence plate?

I've seen them before with a picture of a topped tree that has a red circle with a line through it.

Looked online but no luck.

Anyone have the answer?

I don’t know were you could find one, but I agree that this ridiculous practice needs to stop. I would say on average 80% of the so-called tree services around here do this on a regular basis. There are only a handful of companies around here that know the correct pruning methods. Then these people wonder why their trees die. Something needs to be done to educate the public that tree topping is a bad practice and needs to stop.

I agree. I tell people at any seminars I do that if someone comes out to look at their trees and says they need topped.....send them away!

In my parts a nursery has a bumper sticker that says "Plant a tree". I always admired the marketing genius there.

Check out this site

http://www.cityoflewiston.org/ufd/public_education.htm

They have "Public education tool chest contains several items designed to keep the subject of trees before the public"

And here is a Place to get a sign if you need one
