In the market for one of these?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6026041/

At $93k+ and 7 miles to the gallon, I think I'll pass.

I saw this one at a car show this spring - this one must be a light-duty version.

I'm wondering if you'd need a CDL just to drive that thing to the store for groceries...

I'm turning in my f350 in a couple of months, maybe I'll get the international. Oh wait, it probably wont fit in the driveway. Nevermind.

Jeff the one you posted looks like a Chevy 4500.

The text says you don't need a CDL to drive the Cornbinder, but if it's got air brakes, I would think you would. You sure couldn't tow at capacity without one.

One contractor in my area has a 4 door Freightliner fitted with a custom pickup body he uses as a work/family vehicle. Looks real sharp!

If if has air brakes in Pennsylvania you are going to need to have a CDL class B to operate.

Ford has an F-650 crew cab and pick up body, Cat 230HP engne and Allison 6 speed tranny. Cost is $97K.

I cannot imagine anyone who would use one other than perhaps a horse freek pulling their hayburners to the money pit every weekend.

The truck I saw was when we had an F-450 in for yet another transmission repair, the 650 was on it's way to Afganistan.

When I was at lake mead a few years back there were at least four trucks like that pulling boats. Must be nice. $100k truck pulling a $100k boat.

For some reason, I just thought of that Pepsi commercial with that carson whatever guy driving the jacked up pepsi truck through town.

I'm really not sure what the purpose would be, but suppose if I had a extra 100k laying around and my accountant said I needed the write off, I might drive one around for conversation it would stir up around my little town.

Someone on the plowing forum I frequent posted a thread about what your ultimate plow truck would be. I jokingly said the International.

Seriously though, that's a cool looking truck. Ridiculous yes, but cool. If I hit the lottery, I've always planned to trade up from my 2500 Dodge SRW to the 3500 DRW. After checking out the International website, I might have to reconsider.

anything made by navistar is gonna get 7mpg or less they build the military transport trucks many of you will know as the deuce and a half but you can't beat the power and durability think about how much a missle launch platform weighs now think about dragging it all over terrain that even us landscapers would shudder at
