Has anyone used a "DinaDigger"?

Has anyone ever used a gas powered shovel called a Dinadigger (I think). It sure looks like it could make short work of clay soil. I'm also in the market for a dump trailer. Any thoughts on either?

I haven't - but I agree they look very appealing for hard clay/ rocky situations.

Yeah I saw their ad for that power shovel in one of those deck 'o' cards that the equipment magazines send. I would just wonder if it really had enough power. And what happens if you hit rock or root would you be thrown of the thing??!?

As for dump trailers I recommend Bri-M @ www.bri-mar.com great stuff and plenty of options. What do you plan on using it for? Whats its main purpose?

We remove a lot of sod, old mulch and I use a Trench Master to edge with. All of these things create an awful lot of heavy debris that we are unloading into a trailer and hand unloading at a dump site. A real pain and labor sucker. I also would like to pick up occasional loads of mulch and just dump and run. Neither one of my trailers allow me that luxury and I want a dump trailer more than any $5000.00 shopping spree at any department store. My daughter is always making fun of me when we are driving because she has a mom that checks out equipment and ohhhs and ahhhs over it.

Just bought a Maxi-Dump, and love it. Will rave when I can see straight...

How will you load the sod? We hand-tipped for years...wow, I don't miss ending the day shoveling off four yards of sod!!

The loading is all the same its the unloading that kills us.

Our old cart had a drop gate we could roll our wheel-barrows up.

The new trailer requires use to be able to load over the side, about 3' high, so we had to add a compact utility loader as well. Guess you already got the loader...

I have a small backhoe /frontend loader but it isn't small enough to get into the trailer to unload. It has to be done manually and it becomes painful.

Voodoo,

Do you have something besides the Dingo or are you running with the dump trailer and dingo?
