Silt Fence Installation

I've been contacted by an excavation company about a large silt fence installation, about 9000 lf. We've done some smaller stuff before, but nothing like this. My question is does anyone else do this type of thing? What's the best method of installation? How long could this take? Finally, does anyone ahve a per foot price that they'd throw out just so I can see if I'm gonna be outa line.

Thanks
Scott

We don't do it, but for the companies I see doing it, it's essentially a 2 man operation - one guy runs a trencher, the other unrolls the silt fence in the trench, partially burying the mesh. Then one or both go back and backfill - I would think a Harley Rake on an angle to backfill would be a speedy way to go.

This is the fastest way to install fence. http://mccormickequipment.com/siltfenceplow.html

You still need one or two men to pound stakes and a air staple gun.
