Any APLD members on this board?

I was just wondering if there are any APLD members on this board (Association of Professional Landscape Designers) and if so, are any of you heading to Connecticut this summer for the annual conference?

I'd like to go, but not really sure if I'll be able to make it or not.

I also just read that a trip to Italy in 2009 is in the planning stages.

Fine Edge is an unknown quantity at this point
I'm not a member yet, Chris, but if they're planning a trip to Italy, I better get looking into joining.

I'm a member but I haven't been to any conferences yet. I'd love to see Italy on a trip organized from a garden designer's perspective.

I am an APLD member also, though not an active member. I saw the info on Italy and it's got me drooling, but I'm not sure that I can swing it this year....

You have to go to the conference in Oregon to be eligible for the trip.

LandArts right about having to go to Oregon.

I read this and thought it was crazy. There must be a reason for it though. It's difficult enough for most people to afford the annual conference, let alone the annual conference and a trip to Italy.

I'm hoping to go to Italy this fall so I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to Connecticut for this years conference.
