auto cad

I want to use autocad to do some design work. I looked up autocad on E-bay, and there are so many versions it made my head spin. I would like to use it with the paint shop pro for color. What is a generic auto cad or should i just buy an old version? What is easiest to use?

schleng is an unknown quantity at this point
Hi Nate,
About a year ago or less, I switched over to Bricscad. It is dwg format, and just like autocad, except that it's around $200 or so.
