Had a chance to go north and do a design in Seaside, Oregon, just over a week ago. Did the design on 2 six hour work shifts in a campground where I stayed for 4 days. Weather was great.

It was a single very large bed for condos, so I brought my portable draft table, laptop and HP printer.

I could handle this kind of office space several times per year.

Wow, nice work....that's definitely a change from working from home.

What power source did you plug your printer into?

A lot of Oregon state campgrounds have electric outlets on posts for RVs. This campground here Nehalem Bay State Park has 6 campsite loops, and almost all have paved driveways, water faucets and electric outlets.

My other favorite, Harris Beach State Park, where I'm going next Friday night, has cable tv attachments on the wood post too - in quite a few A, B and C loop sites. I keep small TV in my converted cargo trailer (video of it on that campground page). This week coming will just be recreation. I want to hike in the redwood forest, and figured I'd just camp Friday as well and enjoy the ocean.

Wow!! Lots of creature comforts....electricity, even cable hook ups. Did you even leave your house?

PSUscaper is on a distinguished road
For a landscaper, that is a pretty lousy fire pit though!

Next time I expect a little more effort in that category.

Looks like a nice time though. I've tried that myself, but often am too relaxed to get any real work done. I'd fall asleep right at the table!

And wow! look at that drafing brush! I haven't used one of those in years! One word....CAD.....or is that 3?

Hey, its not too bad living back in the medieval tool days as long as the equipment feels comforable

Next time, maybe I can bring about 7 small Nandina for a mini hedge in front of the fire. Then I can give them to the campground host for a present. A few park hosts have a few creature comforts.

Different thought...

At Harris Beach State Park (not the one above), they are using a lot of Escallonia between campsites. Not native, but looks good. Crocosmia is one of their favorite small plants.

Otherwise, they are using indigenous.
