Would like some ideas on what to do with 1:1 slopes to make them look good and easy to maintain. I have 2 schools that have major 1:1 slopes. Initially when the schools were new they had mass plantings with pop ups which made a great weed patch. So someone turned off the irrigation to control the weeds and of course took out everything else. With these slopes you have to be a billy goat to get on them and stay there. This is in the Mojave Desert of California. A good ideas out there??

I no noting of the work in your climate but being such a steep slop have u considerd a rock garden with plantings mixed in or a retaining wall to decrese the slop with a garden on top.these are simple ideas but sometimes the basics are the best way out
