Landscape Design Course

Hello,

I am a new member who joined today. I am a Master Gardener in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I would like to take an online landscape design course this coming fall and have discovered that there are only a few. Does anyone know anything about the Anna Gresham School of Landscape Design? It is in New Zealand. I have looked into a few others but find that this one interests me the most. I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who has taken this program or from anyone who knows anything about it.

Lynda--
I am a student of Anna Gresham, half-way through the distance-learning course you're talking about. I have found it to be very comprehensive, professional and well-written. Anna keeps close contact; always answers email immediately, provides good written materials and addendums, expects a lot and is a good designer. The course requires an investment in professional drawing equipment right off the bat and takes a considerable time commitment for most assignments. They are technical and detailed. I think it's very good preparation for working as a designer and for APLD certified membership, which gives you some credential in being allowed to use those initials.

I guess I'm recommending the course . . . You can email me if you have questions.
