In Oregon, we need a couple of hours worth of CEUs for our landscape licenses, aside from the technical CEUs. When the option of a book was mentioned, I went to the local Powells Books and ended up on the "customer service" bookshelf.
I turned pages of two books, bought them, and am really enjoying the content and information. There are quite a few marketing ideas and examples of results from management decisions.
The books are:
1. A COMPLAINT IS A GIFT
2. HOW TO BECOME A RAINMAKER
Never even heard the term "rainmaker" before in regards to business, since I"ve never been in mainstream sales. Already applied one or two ideas from it for my website paragraphs.
Some ideas indicate that brevity can be beneficial sometimes, where effort exerted could be counterproductive.
