Has anyone heard of a magazine called Easy Care Landscaping?
I had a call from someone looking to publish some rock garden pictures of mine, so I want to know who they are before I respond. Harris Publications is supposed to be the publisher.
Has anyone seen this or had any experience with the magazine?
I'm expecting the possibilty of this being a marketing ploy to sell me advertizing.
I usually have a pretty good sniffer when it comes to those things, but I got hooked into a 20 minute phonecall for a television marketing scheme. All they wanted was $5,000 and I could be on tee vee!
As for your magazine - can't say I've heard of it. This search will get you a little info, but it seems hard to believe they don't have a website.
Sounds very similar to someone who called us. They said they wanted to feature our Artificial Palm Trees in their next magazine. They were going to write the article and everything. We supplied artwork but then when it came time to "publish" the article, they tried to ask for money. I can't remember the name of the company but it turned out to be nothing more than buying a one page article in a trade magazine.
