Anyone planning Christmas Marketing?
In recent years we have been developing with some success albeit more on adhoc basis online sales of some garden products which would regularly feature in some of our projects eg Water Features, Beehive Composters, Stainless Steel water Features etc.
I'm sure like here, landscapers are continuously asked for recommendations or help in sourcing suitable products by clients? I find many garden centres/DIY stores so price driven as to offer mainly low end products. More upmarket stores tend to command super prices for higher end products. Big margins in most cases and fair play if you can get it. Sometimes retail margins can be easy money.
In recent years I've noticed some developments in the marketing of garden products eg 'gifts for gardeners' during the Christmas season. This year we're planning to mail an A3 leaflet to all our clients offering a range of Christmas Garden gifts ideas. Most of it is large products but would be interested in some smaller specialist products that might be considered potential 'impulse buys', anyone recommend any/suggest ideas?
