Google Ads

I would like to know if anyone has any experience using BidClerk, the construction search engine. They charge $50.00 a month for bids anywhere in the US. Any information would be helpful.

Nope. Never tried 'em. I've never had a lot of luck with internet lead sources, so I'd probably be hesitant with this one, too. But I know others have had good results with these types of resources.

google ads

I started google ads in late January and have been surprised by the results. I have received calls from a major hotel and goverment agency and also a few from home owners in my area.

I'm not 100% certain, but I'm thinking tjl saw a BidClerk google ad here and was wondering if anyone had experience with them.

Part of the problem I'm seeing is that these kinds of 'resources' are cropping up all the time, meaning you have to be putting a little bit of cash into lots of lead generation sites if you want to capture them all. My preference would be to pick one or two bigger ones and try them for awhile. I'm giving one that I previously was unimpressed with another try.

i have tried lead services too (contractorwars.com, servicemagic.com, et al) in a mad grab to try and get leads. by and large, they have been a waste of money. They did work 3-4 years ago, but now there are so many "lead generation" sites out there, that people have come to use them less and less as they get more and more generic.

google pay per click does work, however, to drive traffic to our website. there is no way to qualify the clicks we get, so there are alot of junk visitors i suppose. but we do get alot of traffic, and google has a tool they call google analytics that helps analyze where clicks came from, how long the visitor spent on your site, what pages they went to, etc.
