Local television advertising with Spot Runner

You may have noticed the advertisement on the headline page for Spot Runner - about a year ago I read about this company in an article in Fast Company magazine. The gist of their business model is this - they have a bunch of professionally pre-made commercials for a wide range of products and services. When you sign up with them, you can do some customization with voiceover and logo, then let them be your media buyer for you. They'll help you target your specific service areas "down to the neighborhood."

From that article, the price for the ad is $499 and you can advertise for well under $100 per spot in most places.

I'd been looking at doing a campaign through a local outfit and was anticipating spending $8-10K for a nice but small TV campaign - this could get me in well under that.

If you're in the market for inexpensive local TV ad spots to promote your business, check them out: Spot Runner.
