need some feedback on a "fair" or "average" rate to charge for pressure washing and sealing (driveways)...didn't do a lot of this type of work in the past, but looks like I'll have a good share coming my way...I had the impression before that sealing alone was about fifty cents a square foot, is this on the high end? A designer that I've been working with told me that he hears twenty-five cents per square foot is more accurate....

don't want to under bid for obviuos reasons, but still want to be competitive, anyone's feedback would be appreciated, thanks

should I call up local competitors and ask?

We haven't done sealers in a long time, just because they took so long to get done. Go out and clean, pressure wash, then wait to dry (or leave and come back the next day), then seal. If it was a humid day you could be waiting for hours.

When we were doing it we were charging $1/sqft. Less for larger projects (like driveways).
