What color are your trucks?

I was looking at the eBazaar forum yesterday and noticed PayDaze had a compactor for sale.

Actually, what I really noticed was the color of the vehicles parked in the background (see below).

What color are your trucks? Do you use the color as part of your marketing plan (ie to stand out)?

And PayDaze - You've gotta give us the story on how you chose pink for your trucks.

Sure enough. I see he never posted the pick of all 7 trucks in pink. I've seen the occasional pink quad axle, but it's usually an independant female driver's rig.

Those strange metal things hanging off the front of the trucks are called plows...for those of you like me who haven't used them for over a calendar year. Pretty exciting - we actually did some PLOWING tonight!

well it all started my cousin has purple trucks www.achesse.com
hes been in busines for quite some time and just about everyone in the industry knows him and his "purple trucks" we started getting pretty busy and i wanted to stand out so i took it to the next leve with pink. lol. there are some many articles out there about color and i think it plays a huge part in business esp. our business where you cant swing a dead cat and not him another landscaper. we are pretty well known now for our hydroseeding/landscaping services in the construction industry with our pink trucks. and trust me ive heard EVERY joke that can be made about men driving pink trucks.. lol

heres a pic or a recent job of us doing some shade trees for a township... and yes thats us wearing shorts and shortsleeves in jan.
