wink internet solicitation for job leads

I have recently been contacted by a company out of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia called Renovation Experts who provide leads for landscape work of different kinds by zip code.
They want 150.00 per month for unlimited leads.
Anyone heard of them or have any experience of them good or bad?
I am generally skeptical of internet solicitation but they seem genuine.
Thanks in advance

I haven't, but I did somehow get signed up for contractor.com, which gives the tease of a lead for free, and you have to buy it if you like the description (and location). The leads range from $5 to $30, but so far I haven't paid for a single one, because they all seem to be junk.

In my humble opinion the people ready to drop serious money on a project are not yet ready to just let a website lead service do the preliminary work for them. However, many of the price shopping, small project people seem to be...

In all honesty, Service Magic has given some very good leads that have generated into excellent work. The only ones I accept are those which say "ready to hire." Cost is $30.00 a piece, maintenance leads for $10.00 each. Also, BNI, business network nternational has given millions in signed referrals that turned into jobs in less than 2 years. I am very skeptical of any internet services, simply because they all have their hand open when it comes to get paid, with little to no guarantee of a good quality lead. Service Magic has actually taken back leads given if I complained about bad info, or a miscommunication where I'm not sure others would.

I had signed up for service magic a couple years ago.....

Biggest PITA than any other marketing I ever did.....the leads we were getting were bogus...most were outside our work areas. Many were for work we never listed that we did...."Ready to Hire"........BS........they either needed it done within days, regardless of what my schedule was, or they were "ready to hire" at some time in the future.

I purchased a few leads.......all turned into nothing.

Totaly not worth it if you ask me.

Thanks to Bill and Glan for replying so promptly.
I am not happy about handing out my bank details on the internet and do not know if the quality of the leads is good, bad or indifferent.
Hopefully someone who has dealt with this particular company will respond.
Stay cool!
