Dodge Reports-Useful?

I am considering subscribing. We are in the southeast corner of New Hampshire. Its 18 miles to Massachusetts and 8 miles to Maine. We work in all three states. Dodge reports charges per state or portion of state. My yearly subscription would be $2200+. They only offer yearly subscriptions- no month to month. I am on a 2 day trial right now, but it's not a lot of time to decide. Does anyone use them? How is your closing rate on unsolicited bids?

The biggest problem we had with them several years ago was that by the time the report became print, the job and subs were already let. I have heard they went through some restructuring, and are doing things a bit differently than the way they had before. If you do more residential than commercial, they are/were a complete waste of money.

I'm not sure how accurate they are now.

Paul is on a distinguished road
They are online now and you get the info much faster. Bill's right they are not for everybody but if you want to do commercial work they are almost a must. If you do public works type jobs you have to have them.
