Soldering Junctions

We are tweaking our lighting installation procedures a bit and have been discussing the value of soldering junctions. We wouldn't be soldering where individual lights connect to the run, instead just the main junction for the run.

Right now we join our main run and "spider legs" with larger silicon nuts, but our new thought process is to solder the main run and its spider legs together, then put the silicone nut over top. We like the security of knowing the group of wires within the nut is held together firmly and that they are all connected. Granted, over the years, we have probably only had a couple of wires come loose post installation, but better safe than sorry right?

Wondering if anyone does this, has tried this? General thoughts...

Thanks!

HardScaper26 is an unknown quantity at this point
Honestly I don't see a tremendous value in it. I have had great success with the large silicone wire nuts. Have you tried using the Unique hubs? My only comment regarding what you are doing is that I see nothing wrong with it and there is nothing wrong with the added security measure, however I would see it as a pain if you ever want to add lights of the main line.
