questn Bendy or straight?

I often do small irrigation systems and sometimes add on to existing ones. Do you use Black flexible pipe or white straight PVC pipe? Just Wondering.

Will:

We can use either by code, but the standard of choice is PVC. I wish we could use a vibratory plow like back east, but we end up jackhammering soil to dig, and many many rocks, so, no pipe pullers here....

Black poly is most common in our area. PVC is really only for larger stuff(non-residential). Sometimes, guys will run their main lines on larger jobs with PVC, but most of the laterals are all poly, and for the most part, most lines are pulled poly.

And just a note.......be carefull around here. I know a few guys who become quite aggrevated seeing guys doing irrigation work without a license. You really shouldn't be dong much more than minor repair work.

yeah that's all I really do anyway but my pipe preference is the black flexible stuff. With the terrain her it easily goes around the obstacles.

What does it take to get a license in your area??

I really wish there were more certifications here in CO.

It would really weed out the bad apples.
