questn Irrigation Service Calls

This one's for all you Irrigation guys in the Northeast. We are trying to make the decision on whether or not to raise our service call rate. What's the going rate right now? and the other dilemma: say we send a tech out on a service call to replace a head and we charge $55.00 a head, do we then tack on the service call charge as well or should there be a minimum amount of time we spend at the job before the service call charge gets applied? or do we automatically charge a service charge just for showing up? Just want to get a feel for what others are doing out there so we "keep up with the Joneses".
Thanks.

We charge $114.19 for a straight replacement on a hunter PGP. Swing Joints and connectors are extra if needed. Usually its a straight 50 just to pull upto the house.

Good Luck This Year
