PROBLEM WITH RICHDEL VALVE. Please help

Hello, I’m a novice at irrigation so please forgive my ignorance. I have one zone that does not get enough pressure. If I bypass the electronics and turn the valve on manually by unscrewing the plastic Philips head screw, the zone works fine. Also the solenoid is humming only on that particular valve. Any ideas, I haven’t taken the top of the valve only because I’ve never opened one before and I didn’t know if it was complicated. THX Kopo

Try replacing the solenoid.............or at least try swapping it with a valve next to it and see what happens......if the same thing......replace the solenoid.........if not.....try cleaning vlave or replace it and the solenoid.

It's the diafram. The city water makes them hard after awhile and they won't open all the way. Just install a new one and you're good to go. It's a Richdel 205 right?

Thanks guys, I think its a 2025 not a 205. Do they sell a valve repair kit?

Any good sprinkler supplier should be able to sell you the diafram. Buy an extra one for your parts bin.
