Tips for using a masnory saw?

Hi All!
any tips for using a masonry table saw (wet)? i'll be cutting pavers some as small as 3" x 3". i know its not a big deal, i've used every type of woodworking saw there is. i just thought there might be some usefule tips you could share. Its a Target saw with a fairly small blade (probably 8" or so).

thanks,
Scott

Is it a tub saw or a handheld?

Hi Stonehenge,

It's a tub saw. i have cut quite a bit of pavers, stairs, and wall block using a worm drive circular saw.
thanks,
Scott

A tub saw is pretty fool-proof. Just keep your fingers out of the path of the blade, should the blade catch the brick and pull it and your hands into the saw.
