shouldn't you be asking your contractor?

i hit new posts and the majority of them are from homeowners this morning.

i just finished reading about how tough a time one of our members is having finding work, and then in the next few posts, we are helping homeowners to not hire him/us.

just a thought....

There is nothing better than an educated consumer. Period!

I don't know about other homeowners, but the projects I come here to read about are not ones I would hire out anyway. I'm doing work in my back yard, hired out the stuff I couldn't do, and am doing the stuff either I can/think I can/ or can't afford to hire out. It's not effecting others work.

i read 1 post from a struggling contractor and 4 posts from homeowners with diy projects who were needing a lot of help.
