Invest in Real Estate or Stocks???

I have some amount of earnings apart from the ones that I save for my necessities. I want the earnings invested in some real estate or may be in stocks. I do have some knowledge on stocks but, earlier my cousin had invested in the stocks and had a set-back. I know that you need to be updated in that but – What is a better option from the two???

Real Estate. Specifically the property you are in now. You should take all of your money as well as any that you can get through liquidation of anything and everything you own and spend it all on your local landscapers.

Now if you were in a different hardiness zone, I might recommend something different. Since you are in zone two, it probably makes sense.

Disclaimer: I am not a financial consultant and guaranty only that the money will land in the hands of landscapers. This is a better option for those of us in the landscape industry. Much like stocks or real estate, some investments work to your advantage and some do not. Past performance is not indicative of future growth in the market.

Given the rate Wachovia gives me for my savings acct, I've heard First National Bank of Your Mattress is about equivalent.

Zone 2- is it still snowing there?

You've been punked

His profile says that he is a nursery grower in the southwest of the US. I guess that's southwest Alaska. I'd love to get a catalog of his plant availability list.

As far as investing goes, I'd try to corner the igloo real estate market. I hear it's in a real slump, but if we start drilling for oil out there, those babies will go for big bucks. (actually that's not such a bad idea.)

Invest in Real Estate or Stocks???

Real Estate or Stocks ---- I would prefer real estate just for the sake that I don’t know much about the stocks ….. but as the case with your cousin goes …. I would advice you to have some investments in the real estate market as the place is at a boom now and you may get good returns for the investments there. Being updated on the stock market is a must for investments there but I find investment a risk in the stock market.

How's that for good fortune- we get a knowledgeable new member just in time to answer the other new member's question! I'll click that link as soon as I finish sending my bank info to this nice lady who emailed me. She's the widow of an African diplomat, and we're gonna be rich!

The Financial Times has said that due to fuel and energy costs, processed gravel will become as scarce as sapphires. I vote to buy as much gravel as you can afford. 2500 tons would cover a quarter-acre lot over 4' deep, and then you can roll around in your wealth like Scrooge McDuck.
