Backyard sidewalk/patio help
First off I'd just like to say hello to anyone and everyone who may read this, Im new to the forums. I'm 18 and Ive really started to realize how many things can be done with the yard we have, etc. In fact Im doing some flowerbeds, etc for my senior project. Now to get to my problem. We've got this patio in our backyard, if I had to give it a shape I'd say draw a circle and now draw an + in it, its shaped just like the upper left hand 1/4 of the circle. It is brick and has been that way since we've moved in years ago, my dad passed and left a lot of work I know he wanted to start but never had the chance to do. Well the brick is pretty nicely layed out, but over the years weather and of course my family has given it a beating. I finally sprayed it down with round-up on a nice hot day, by the end of the week weeds were dead and I got down on my hands and rooted all that junk out, now the problem comes into play. What should I use to fill all these parts where there is no fill between bricks or where at one point was a dirt fill but Ive torn out, I want something that will stay in the ground and look nice, and not let weeds up, Ive been thinking a compound of some sort, a grout? I'm fairly new to things of this sort so help is appreciate.
Thanks
-Nathan
