Hello all! I wanted to let everyone know that my contractor did come back and address and fix my concerns. I hope the repairs hold up for the long haul!
I have a different question now:
Can you reccomend a sealer that will give me the wet look? I need to cover approx 1000 square feet and cost is a bit of a concern. The supply shop told me that 10 gallons would be 450.00 but looking online I see products in the 20.00 a gallon range. I do not know what specific product the guy was pitching me, but would like to hear pros and cons on any of the stuff you might have used.
Also, I am removing all of the TechoSand, because it is VERY unsightly. I has developed a lot of algae and chunks of it come out when I clean the patio. Would I be better served to remove all I can in sections, apply sealer, do more sections until finished and THEN fill in with sand? Or should I remove all TechoSand , reapply sand to joints, and then apply sealer. I am leaning this way because I would then be sealing the sand in with the pavers.

Is it that no one uses a sealer? Am I getting into more headaches if I apply one? I want the patio to look its best, but also dont want (or need) any additional troubles if I do it.
