Light colored grass clumps

I have a couple spots in my lawn where these lighter colored grass clumps are growing. I don't know what they are or what is causing them. They don't seem to be affecting the grass around it but i'd like to get rid of them. Any ideas?
Thanks
Eric

Poa Annua.

Annual Blue Grass

They tend to die out as the weather gets hotter.........You can try killing it now before it sets seed..........or apply a preventer in the fall
