skid steer stability

I'm new to operating a skid steer on anything but level ground. I'm aware of backing up a hill when there is no weight in the bucket and vice / versa when carrying a load. I also know to keep the bucket as low to the ground when traveling. What I am trying to determine is just how much of a slope can these units really be used on providing good common sense is used. I just bought an older Bobcat 743 to grade my 5 acre gently sloped property. I'm hiring a landscape design firm and will likely have a lot of the work done professionally, but couldn't pass up the chance to have a little fun with a skid steer just for the experience. Just a homeowner (big kid).

Get yourself a copy of the owner's manual for that machine, it will specify the limitations you should follow.
