wink Leatherleaf?

I'm located on a 5.2 acre ranch in the High California gold country. In preparation for the winter months (which seem like they may never come...) I've begun to mow my pastures. My first pasture is not so bad, aside from the yellow star thistle and small scotch brooms, I was able to finish that one off early. However my second pasture(s) are over run with what the locals call "leatherleaf" Its attractive silvery blue foliage is a nice color contrast, but I don't need it in my pasture. I've got so much I might just pot it up and sell it to the local nurseries. Or even harvest the olive-like seeds and sell those too! Any feedback would be great. Thanks all!
