Ok, heres the question....
1) On 08/20/05 tilled the entire yard to 8"
2) Applied lime per USDA CoOp recommendations
3) Powerraked on 8/31/05.
4)Fertilized and seeded , then covered in blown straw on 09/01-09/02. Watered lightly.
Been watering but not enough to make it all water dependent.
5) Some areas are 6" some are 2" depending on where the water was heavier.
6) Grass is a blend of perrenial rye, and fescues ( tri-blend).

The $64,000 question is when would you mow ? The area here in SW Virginia is almost in a drought, and watering is a slow process on 1.25 acres.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

So basicaly you seeded a month ago.

I should think your grass should be 3" or taller.....If it's been irrigated daily. If so........cut it at 3"

Fert it again.
