A couple of end-of-season pictures

These were a couple of jobs we completed this season.

I like the firepit area. What kind of bullnose is that?

Love that Creta. assuming its Creta and Antique Colonial. Freestanding wall with pillars looks fantastic. Customer surely was pleased. My question has always been, how much heat with those SRW`s take from a firepit ? But if its got the steel liner....

Sharp looking patio.

Do you contract electrical, or have an electrician work with you to put the pillars together?

Do you put in a conduit and then the electrician follows?

Anyway, looks very nice.

I did my first pillar with a light on it this year and it was a pain in the ass. We installed the conduit in the pillar for an electrician to come in after us and wire it. The existing wire running from the house was not in conduit when we uncovered it, and our foremen did not rewire it through conduit. When the electrician came and tested the wire at the base of the column it was bad. OOPS. We had to pull up a lot of the pavers from the landing and reinstall a new wire.

we just leave conduit in there and the electrician deals with the wire.
