Another Dawg

After signing the contract for a paver patio / firepit, I noticed this clients' patio. The water has been standing in this area 4 days now. I was actually bidding against the company that did this. HUH?
I asked the client what in the world happened and he proceeded to tell me and then asked if I could fix it.
It's a wood frame deck that probably has no pitch to it and I'm really not sure if I want to take on someone else's screw-up. I told him to call the other company first and see about a warranty.
I'm really getting fed up with other service companies that just have no clue what they're doing.

In almost the same sense, it's amazing that people want the best but refuse to pay for good quality but seem to have NO problem paying for crappy work.
It's like picking your car up from the tire store, seeing one of the new tires is flat & then paying for it and driving off.
