SRW/Paver Bridges

I'm throwing together a small bridge at a road side.
Looking for opinions on the wall height.
It's about 6' long x 38" wide x and 16 or 20" deep at the center.

I have the sides set to be even with the walk, but now I'm thinking raised sides might work and be safer. Kind of like this I___I

My concern is that it's a small bridge, in the open, and next to the road. (used just to go the the mail box)

fyi: Its a dry ditch

I think I'm not understanding your question. Will you be essentially filling the ditch by building this bridge? I'm thinking you have to be, otherwise my brain just isn't working because I can't picture how you can use SRW to build a bridge.

Right, using a 12" steel culvert underneath.
I dry stacked the sides today' Looked ok but out of place, so I took the sides down to be level with the pavers.
