Need seat wall pics
I have a potential client that has requested a seat wall with a back that would be situated around the edge of the new patio.
Anyone on here have some decent pics of seat walls with attached back?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not ignoring you - I just don't have any pics like that. Sorry.

We haven't done any with backs, either. We've only done a few over the years, anyway.

I have only seen that once in my travels and the back itself was wood. It was a separate piece of the seat too. It looked like the guy used cedar strips with copper tubing spacers. Looked pretty sharp actually.

The only one I've done with a back was just a couple of mortar coats since the client was having cushions custom made. I pulled some ideas of the web so they could see some different styles ( you know how some people can't really visualize certain things ) but I figured I'd check on here also.
Thanks for the input.

A guy that I used to work for had a couple of walls where he had horizontal granite sticking out from stone walls with stone mortared to them so that the seat was elevated in front and the wall was also a back rest. It was a nice look.

I have done the type of wall that you describe. It is shown in our website's photo gallery in the patio section. There is a firepit in the middle of the area. Hope that helps.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but here is one I built last year for a client.

That's what they're looking for. Is that a bullnose travertine for the seat?

Yes, 2" bullnose travertine.
I would advise to design it big enough and deep enough to support the use of pillows and cushions. Because of the need to pitch the bench slightly, it makes it uncomfortable to sit on for a long time without cushions.

Quite a beautiful job that one is! Here is a basic seat wall with back rest. Built with brussels dimensional.
